Producing new garments isn't sustainable and we don't pretend that it is. Since we are in the business of making goods, we have a responsibility to offset and understand the scope of our environmental impact. First and foremost, we produce in limited quantities to avoid leftover inventory and waste. In a system where brands destroy billions of dollars of merchandise annually without batting an eye, we hope to disrupt this system permanently. In addition, we are re-distributing our profits to areas of need. We are in partnership with leading environmental non-profit organizations that enable us to undo some of the damage that comes with producing garments.

While not all of our items are made stateside, we ensure that 95% of our products (all fleece, tees, hoodies and sweats) are produced domestically. It's important that we outsource as much as we can locally so that we are able to provide jobs for workers and reduce emissions from transportation. Growing our community and connecting with other small business owners allows us to ensure our quality is consistent and sustainable. 1% for the Planet is a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to support environmental solutions through annual memberships and everyday actions. We advise on giving strategies, we certify donations and we amplify the impact of our network.

Every year, thousands of brands participate in the highly anticipated Black Friday, selling off goods at a discounted price that will most likely be used for a few months and discarded shortly after. We wanted to use this day as an opportunity to do something good for the environment. Each year, instead of putting our items on sale, we offer them at full price and donate 20% of the proceeds to 1% for the planet.
